ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT
The Moray Council's Environmental Health Section has advised that the only recorded source of potential contamination within 50 metres of this property is a former quarry 25 metres to the south. It appears, based on the presence of a visible quarry face, that this area of the quarry has not been subject to infilling. Material has been imported into the quarry 50 metres to the east but this is unlikely to have implications for the Braelossie property. As such, it is considered there are no contamination constraints on the sale of the property and its use for residential purposes.
